the Bible. We actually studied this book last year, and got
so much from it – we decided to do it again! We meet at the home
of Janet Emerson. We would love to have you join us!
The book, Women of the Bible, is Approximately $20. (Spangler @ Syswerda,
1999) is the head cover edition with both authors. (There is
a paperback book with the same title and only 1 author, which is NOT

Discovery Church and individual needs. All who believe in the power of
corporate prayer are encouraged to gather during this powerful time of trusting
God to intercede on behalf of his people.

Discovery Church Christmas Dinner will include
great food, warm fellowship and inspiring music. We will be honoring
Pastor Edmundo Gonzalez (pastor of Discovery's Spanish speaking congregation)
and his wife and 5 kids (Edmundo 15, Erik 14, Elias 7, Sarah, 2, and Eliasaf
5 months). Cost is $4 per adult/child or $16 for family. After December
9th cost will be $5 per adult/child or $20 for family. Contact

Children of Discovery Church, It's that time of year when we set
aside some time to celebrate together the birth of Jesus Christ. During second hour on
Sunday, we will play together, eat together, and have fun together. This event is for
ages 4 through 5th grade.

The Youth are having a Birthday Party for Jesus at Steve and Connie
Orth ’s house. Every student needs to come with 2 things:
- A birthday gift for Jesus. (This would be a great chance for you to sit down with your
son and daughter and have a significant conversation about Christmas – specifically, what
type of gift would Jesus find acceptable) These gifts will need to be given to Him that
evening, so also consider how that will be done.
- A food/dessert that is significant to your son or daughter. There needs to be meaning and
significance behind what they bring.

of Christmas Caroling in the neighborhoods of Livermore. We will
meet at the church for a time of prayer, divide into groups and disperse,
then meet back at church for snacks and hot chocolate. Lights out
at 9:00PM. If you have a particular neighborhood or family you
