| Point Break E-Team | Mondays | 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. | The Point Break E-TEAM is a group of students excited about reaching their community with the Gospel! This team will meet at the home of Curtis Lillie. |
| Women's Small Group | Tuesdays | 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. | Our Women’s Group will start our study of Women of the Bible. We actually studied this book last year, and got so much from it – we decided to do it again! We meet at the home of Janet Emerson. We would love to have you join us! The book, Women of the Bible, is Approximately $20. (Spangler @ Syswerda, 1999) is the head cover edition with both authors. (There is a paperback book with the same title and only 1 author, which is NOT the same) Please contact Kim Bowlby or Karen Stackhouse for more information. |

| Youth Group | Wednesdays | 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. | Youth Group as usual. Sr. High in the Youth Room. Jr. High in the Great Room. We will be going through the book of Mark. |
| Early Risers | Thursdays | 5:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. | Early Intercessors meet in the Sanctinasium to intercede on behalf of Discovery Church and individual needs. All who believe in the power of corporate prayer are encouraged to gather during this powerful time of trusting God to intercede on behalf of his people. |
| Seekers | 3rd Thursday | 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. | Seekers is a support group for developmentally disabled adults. They meet in the Great Room. There will be worship, Bible study and devotions. Contact Joyce or Lenny Wheaton at 454-0727 for more information. |
| Breakthrough Prayer Service | First Saturday of the Month | 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. | All are invited to come and join us for Breakthrough Prayer in the Sanctinasium. We meet each month to pray for the specific needs of our church and related issues. |
| National Day of Prayer | 5/1 | The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. This year District Assembly is hosted by Santa Rosa Church of the Nazarene, Farmers Lane, Santa Rosa, CA 95405. Thursday is the District Convention. Friday is the Missionary Convention, and Saturday is the NYI Convention. This is a great opportunity to see what is going on at the District level. The evening service are great! | Mission's "Dinner & a Movie" |
5/18 | 6:00 p.m. | Both the English and Spanish Congregations
are invited to Discovery Missions "Dinner & a Movie". Dinner is
a potluch, and since the movie has a Colombian theme, try and bring a
Colombian dish. The movie, "From the Dark", is a true story about a Colombian drug cartel assassin who gives his life to Christ. It is 23 minutes long and will touch your heart.
