All are welcome to join us in prayer for Discovery. We meet in the Youth room in the morning to pray for God's direction in the life of His church, for the morning worship service, and for the lives of our youth. The evening Prayer Service another time when we come together in the Youth room for prayer, meeting with Christ and presenting our challenges, needs, and hopes for His church. |

| Youth Bible Study & Quizzing | Sundays | 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. | For all youth, 6th - 12th grades, at the Childress' home. Encourages meaningful Bible study, develops discipleship and life applicatoin skills, creates opportunities for interaction and fellowhsip with other young people and helps promote a Christ-like attitude. | Got Prayer? | Wednesdays | 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. | This is a time when we join in prayer for our nation, church, and those prayer requests received each week. Come and join us for this prayer time. |
| Seekers | 3rd Thursday |
7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. | Seekers is a support group for developmentally disabled adults. They meet in the Great Room. There will be worship, Bible study and devotions. Contact Joyce or Lenny Wheaton at 454-0727 for more information. |
| Early Risers | Fridays | 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. | Early Intercessors meet in the Sanctinasium to intercede on behalf of Discovery Church and individual needs. All who believe in the power of corporate prayer are encouraged to gather during this powerful time of trusting God to intercede on behalf of his people. |

| English/Spanish Combined Worship | 1/10 | 2:30 p.m. | Combined worship celebration with our Hispanic Congregation. Dinner to follow service. There will be NO 10:45am service on this day only. |
| Movie Night | 1/16 | 5:30 p.m. | The movie, End of the Spear, will
be shown in the Youth Room. The cost is $2 which includes
the movie and dinner. Because of the intensity of the movie, a G rated
movie will be shown in the CHAMPS room for children of any age. This movie is based on a true story of the experiences of several missionary families in Ecuador. See how God turned the lives of these families upside down and as a result changed the violent history of these remote Ecuadorian natives forever. |
| Prime Time Lunch | 1/17 | 12:30 p.m. | Prime Time lunch is for those over 55 and/or retired. Come and enjoy some good food and good fellowship together. The lunch will be in the Great Room after the worship service. |
