Pastor Curtis Lillie |
Raised predominantly in Livermore, Curtis has spent time living, learning, and serving, in San Diego,
the Seattle area, and Kansas City, Missouri. Before becoming the lead pastor here, he actually
served on our staff under various titles. His primarily work has been with youth.
Curtis married his wife Jane in 2005. They added Rebekah to their family in 2008 and Catherine
in 2012.
He graduated from Granada High School in 2002 and he believes that being an Oakland Raider fan has
trained him in the kind of long-suffering and perseverance needed to follow Jesus for the long-haul.
In addition to his service in local churches, Curtis has long been an advocate for associations and
ministries that transcend local churches and denominations. |
|
He has worked extensively with Young
Life in a variety of capacities, he has worked with other youth pastors to develop an interdenominational
ministers fellowship, and he has helped to develop a suicide/depression awareness and prevention program
that was implemented in Livermore's public schools.
